Review Process
Peer Review Policy
All manuscripts submitted to the International Journal for Research in Social Science and Humanities (IJRSSH) are subject to a compulsory double-blind peer review process prior to any publication decision. Each manuscript is assessed by one or more qualified independent reviewers with relevant subject expertise to ensure academic rigor and relevance.
The journal only considers original submissions. Manuscripts that have been previously published, are under review elsewhere, or carry any form of copyright restriction will not be accepted.
Authors are encouraged to present their research in a clear, structured, and concise manner. Since the primary goal of publication is the effective dissemination of scholarly work, unclear or overly complicated writing may reduce the overall impact of the research.
The journal adheres strictly to the ethical standards and best practices outlined by the Committee on Publication Ethics (COPE) for maintaining integrity in the peer review process.
Review Procedure
All submitted manuscripts are evaluated through an anonymous review system. Reviewers provide unbiased and independent feedback, which is then shared with the authors to help improve the quality of the manuscript.
When submitting a revised version, authors must carefully address all comments provided by reviewers and editors. A detailed response explaining the revisions made—or justification for not implementing certain suggestions—must be included.
Based on the reviewer feedback and editorial assessment, manuscripts may be categorized under the following decisions:
- Accepted without any revisions
- Accepted with minor revisions
- Accepted after major revisions and re-evaluation
- Rejected
The final decision is communicated to the corresponding author by the editorial team.
Review Timeline
The editorial board strives to ensure a timely and efficient review process while maintaining fairness and academic quality. Typically, the review process is completed within 6 to 7 weeks.
Although efforts are made to adhere to this timeline, the journal prioritizes thorough evaluation and quality standards over speed.
Fairness and Transparency
The peer review process is conducted in a fair and unbiased manner, providing equal opportunity to all authors. Editorial decisions regarding acceptance and publication scheduling are based solely on reviewer feedback and editorial judgment.
No hidden criteria or external influences are considered in the decision-making process, ensuring transparency and academic integrity.
